The competition is aimed at developing environmental culture among local residents. Working on herbariums helped the participants expand their knowledge about the nature of their native land and preserve vivid memories of the past summer. The works were evaluated in three age categories according to five criteria. The jury included employees of the department of natural resources, ecology and agro-industrial complex of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, experts from Gazprom Neft Shelf and the Nenets forestry branch of the National Joint-Stock Company “TsPiOOS”.
