At the weekly operational meeting of the Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Yuri Bezdudny, the work of the mobile medical team was discussed. She resumed work in September.

– The most precious thing we have is health. The most effective method of preserving health is to undergo medical examination and early diagnosis. In the early stages of the disease it is easier to treat. For this purpose, does the mobile medical team regularly travel to the settlements of the district where it is currently working? – asked the head of the region.

As Elena Levina, head of the Department of Health, Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, explained, on Wednesday, October 4, doctors will begin examining residents of the Peshsky Village Council.

In September, doctors conducted medical examinations in Indiga. 208 people received assistance, of which 115 underwent an in-depth medical examination. Also, 270 residents underwent fluorography.

8 reindeer herders were able to get an appointment with a doctor. In addition, 95 children were examined.

– On your instructions, powerful personnel work has been carried out. A pediatrician began working as part of a mobile medical unit. Now we can provide services to the children’s population,” noted Elena Levina.

Also, doctors have already visited Amderma. Here, 112 adults were examined, including 7 reindeer herders, as well as 28 children. 117 patients underwent fluorography.

In Varneke, 28 people asked for help, including 2 reindeer herders. Fluorography was performed on 24 people.

– All survey results are systematized. If a person is diagnosed with abnormalities, he is invited for treatment in the hospital of the Nenets District Hospital or receives care on an outpatient basis. New cases of disease are rare, treatment regimens are usually adjusted,” the head of the department summed up.
