He noted that last winter the maintenance of the winter road repeatedly caused complaints from residents. The contractor for the last two seasons was Avtomarket LLC. A two-year contract was signed with the organization in 2021. Now the construction and maintenance of the temporary winter road will be carried out by the State Unitary Enterprise NAO Naryan-Mardorremstroy.

— I slightly changed the saying about “prepare the sleigh in the summer” and called the heads of the relevant departments and the contractor to the site of the future winter road. “The DRSU will begin preparing the winter road in the summer,” noted Alexander Dudorov.

The length of the winter road is 5.9 km, the ice crossing across the Kazennaya Viska channel is 120 meters. Its carrying capacity is traditionally 20 tons. The estimated speed on the winter road is 50 km/h.
