The head of the Administration of the Polar Region, Nadezhda Mikhailova, spoke about the progress of the campaign for the advanced delivery of fuel to populated areas of the region at the weekly operational meeting of the Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Yuri Bezdudny.

— Within a week, the remaining diesel fuel was unloaded in Karatayka, 200 tons of coal were unloaded in Pesha. The plans for this week are to unload the entire dry cargo ship for Nizhnyaya Pesha. Vessels with energy resources for Telviska, Oksino and Krasny are sailing along Pechora. The remaining firewood is being unloaded in Nelmin-Nos. They plan to close Pechora by the end of the week. In Arkhangelsk, a tanker for the western direction was loaded with diesel fuel. The volume of fuel is about 2,600 tons, the entire west is planned to be closed,” said Nadezhda Mikhailova.

Let us remind you that in total, as part of the campaign, it is necessary to deliver 21 thousand tons of coal, 8.2 thousand cubic meters of firewood, 710.4 tons of fuel briquettes, 11 thousand tons of diesel fuel and 49 tons of gasoline to the settlements of the district. The contract for the delivery of energy resources during the navigation period of 2023 was concluded with the Nenets Oil Company.
