— Polar Naryan-Mar on the banks of the Pechora River is the only city in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Even those travelers who travel a lot around Russia do not always get here. The Northern Lights here are incredible: colorful, bright and shimmering. Here you can also see a winter rainbow, or halo, – it is created by water crystals, noted the tutu service.
Photographer Viktor Kulikov, a master of hunting for the northern lights in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, opened the season for observing the beautiful natural phenomenon on September 8. You can see how it happened in the video.
