In the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, 4.7 thousand workers received electronic work books

According to the press service of the regional branch of the United Social Fund of Russia, electronic labor books (ETK) appeared in Russia on January 1, 2020. During this time, 4.7 thousand employees of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug made the choice in favor of the digital document format

The transition to the ETC is voluntary and is carried out only after submitting a corresponding application to the employer. The exception is those who got a job for the first time in 2021 – for them the work book is immediately kept only in electronic form.

– You can obtain information from the ETC online on the State Services portal. The extract is certified by an enhanced qualified electronic signature. If necessary, it can be downloaded and sent by e-mail (for example, in the case of remote employment) or printed, reports the press service of the OSFR.

Let us recall that the ETC represents data on a citizen’s labor activity, which is generated from monthly reports from employers and stored in a unified database of the Social Fund of Russia. Like the paper version, it contains information about employers and periods of work, positions, dates and numbers of personnel orders, etc.

The advantages of an electronic work book include convenient and quick access to information about work activities, a reduction in the number of errors and inaccuracies in documents, and a high level of security and data integrity.
