The results of the competition will be announced next year. The winning families will receive certificates for improving their living conditions and will be able to go on a big trip around Russia.

The goal of the competition is to unite families through common causes, identifying and supporting families with an active lifestyle and interested in comprehensive self-development. The project is focused on solving government tasks to strengthen the institution of the family, promoting traditional family values, including strengthening connections between generations.

The competition consists of several stages, including a distance stage and district semi-finals, and will end in the summer of 2024 with a grand final in Moscow, where 300 families from all over the country will gather.

Registration of participants in the “This Is Our Family” competition will last until November 4, 2023 on the website thisfamily.rf. Teams of four or more relatives, including representatives of at least three generations, can take part in the competition. For example, children from 6 to 17 years old, parents or legal representatives, as well as grandparents or other family members.

Throughout the competition, participants will be able to win gifts and prizes from partners. The main rewards for the winners of the competition will be 30 certificates for improving living conditions and 300 large family trips.

The competition is a new project of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities.” The initiative to create a family competition belongs to the Skatkov family from Samara. In 2022, at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the ANO “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, this idea was supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin. In 2023, on Knowledge Day, the head of state announced the launch of the project.
