According to the Department of Finance and Economics of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, a seminar “Organization and registration of a first-level agricultural consumer cooperative” will be held in Naryan-Mar in November. The speaker will be certified business coach and experienced co-operator Anatoly Korotaev. He will share his methodology for organizing and uniting agricultural cooperatives.

— One of the key aspects of the seminar is working with examples of successful cooperatives, which allow participants to understand how, with the help of cooperation, they can earn more and use less time in their activities. Thanks to this, participants see what results can be achieved if they combine efforts and resources within the framework of a cooperative form of organization. Thanks to examples from different regions of the country, participants will gain a complete understanding of what opportunities are available and how they can use cooperation for their own purposes,” said Anatoly Korotaev.

During the seminar, the speaker will focus on identifying common needs and possible pull factors for uniting people and organizations into cooperatives. This allows us to identify the main types of agricultural cooperatives that can work effectively in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug based on the identified needs.

The organizer of the event is the Competence Center in the field of agricultural cooperation and support for farmers, which operates on the basis of the “My Business” Center. The work of the “My Business” centers is carried out within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives,” initiated by the President of the Russian Federation.
