They entered the home and stole equipment. Young Naryanmar residents are suspected of theft

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Arkhangelsk Region and Nenets Autonomous Okrug opened a criminal case of theft committed by a group of persons with illegal entry into a home (clause “a”, part 3 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)

How reports press service of the investigative committee, 14- and 15-year-old teenagers agreed with a 13-year-old friend (he is not subject to criminal liability due to his age) to enter a city dormitory together.

The guys learned that the owner of the room was temporarily absent – he was on vacation. The attackers broke into his home several times and stole a laptop, gadgets and other valuable property.

The children disposed of things at their own discretion. The total damage amounted to more than 87 thousand rubles.

During interrogation, the minors admitted their guilt and explained to the investigator that practically no one lived in the said hostel. They knocked down the entrance doors to several rooms, in one of which they found valuables that they decided to take for themselves.

Now the evidence base is being collected, witnesses in the case are being questioned, and the reasons and conditions that contributed to the commission of illegal actions by minors are being established.

Police officers seized some of the stolen items from the suspects.

The case was accepted for proceedings by the Naryan-Mar interdistrict investigative department of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Arkhangelsk Region and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
