The barking of a dog after Sánchez’s intervention provokes laughter in the European Parliament

The barking of a dog during the appearance of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, before the plenary session of the European Parliament has caused laughter among the MEPs present at the session.

Sánchez appeared before the European Parliament to take stock of the Spanish presidency of the Council of the EU, and then the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, took the floor.

At the end of that intervention and when the president of Parliament, Roberta Metsola, was going to give the floor to the groups’ spokespersons, those barking were heard repeatedly.
