It takes place at the All-Russian Children’s Center “Smena” in the Krasnodar Territory

The “Safe Wheel” competition is aimed at preventing child road traffic injuries and improving road safety. This year it brought together 356 children aged 10 to 12 years from 89 regions of Russia.

The grand opening of the competition and the first tests took place on Sunday, October 1. At the first “Medicine-Practice” competition, the guys had to provide assistance to victims of road accidents.

– Today we have a very busy day. At 9 o’clock there was a rehearsal for a creative number on the theme “50 years of victories of the YID”. We are also waiting for three competitive tests: “Medicine-Theory”, where the guys will answer questions on medicine in a test form, “Figured bicycle driving”, where you need to ride a bicycle along a certain route with obstacles without making mistakes. The third station is “OBZh”, participants will have to lay out a safe path for a cyclist along the city streets, and also name the device and parts of the bicycle. On Tuesday, an equally interesting station “Avtogorodok” awaits us: we will need to ride a bicycle along a certain route, observing the traffic rules,” Andrey Vetoshkin, physical education teacher No. 4, who accompanies the children, told NAO24.

The competition will last until October 7. The event is held as part of the implementation of the federal project “Road Safety” and the national project “Safe Quality Roads”.
