A quarterly meeting of district volunteers with leaders of volunteer associations took place in Naryan-Mar

The meeting participants summed up the work for the previous quarter and spoke about upcoming events

Deputy Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Natalia Sidorova thanked the volunteers for their work.

— Thank you for your enthusiasm, for what you do voluntarily, thank you for the help you provide to people. Today, not a single event is complete without your participation. It’s up to you to collect humanitarian aid, deliver medicine, help homeless animals, find missing people. “We will never be able to do without you,” Natalia Sidorova addressed everyone present at the meeting.

At the meeting, the winners of the International Prize #WEARETOGETHER were awarded in the following categories: “Territory for Life,” where the winner was the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Environmental Conservation Fund; “Health of the Nation” – Nenets branch of the All-Russian public organization “Russian Red Cross”; “Helping People” – Ekaterina Terentyeva, “Media Project” – Zhanna Polukhina.

— The main goal of the Prize is to recognize and support leaders of socially significant initiatives aimed at helping people and improving the quality of life in Russia and the world. Participants in the Award included Russian citizens over 14 years of age, non-profit organizations, charitable organizations, commercial companies, as well as journalists and other representatives of the media with their social projects,” said Alexander Naida, the host of the event.

Also, the district volunteers were presented with letters of gratitude from the governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The staff of the resource center for the support and development of volunteerism in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug under the leadership of Maria Bashirova and the staff of the regional center for preparing citizens of the Russian Federation for military service were recognized for their contribution to the organization and conduct of events aimed at supporting participants in a special military operation and their families, within the framework of the All-Russian mutual assistance action #WEWTOGETHER and military-patriotic education of youth in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the head of the regional branch of the All-Russian public movement “Volunteers of Victory” Elena Kazakova and leading specialists in working with youth – Lyubov Toropova, Ekaterina Zimenkova, Ksenia Arteeva and Alexander Naida.
