– You can undergo examination by invited medical experts if you have a referral from the local pediatrician/attending doctors of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. To receive a referral, you must make an appointment with the local pediatrician/attending physician of the Nenets District Hospital or the Central Regional Clinic of the Polar Region, take the necessary tests and undergo a preliminary examination, the department noted.

Preliminary examination is a mandatory condition for participation in the promotion. Without test results and other information about the patient’s health status, the preparation of which requires some time, it is impossible to conduct a full consultation in a short time.

Also, as part of the action, a scientific and practical conference “Children of the Arctic” for the medical community of the district will be held on October 24 at the Arktika Palace of Culture.

On the same day at 17.00, an educational event for all interested parents “Formation and preservation of children’s health in the Arctic zone” will be held at the Arktika Palace of Culture. Doctors will present reports to parents on current topics and answer all their questions.
