Trump leads Biden by four points in a new poll less than a year before the presidential elections

The president of USA, Joe Bidenis four percentage points below the former president donald trump in a survey conducted by the ‘Wall Street Journal’, in which the Democratic leader continues to decline in popularity.

Biden, who will seek re-election, he obtained 43% compared to Republican Trump’s 47% -who faces four criminal cases- in a hypothetical confrontation between the two in the 2024 presidential election. When a third-party candidate is included in the poll, Trump’s lead over Biden increases, to 37% and 31%, respectively.

Meanwhile, Biden’s approval fell to 37%, while 61% of those surveyed consider their performance unfavorableaccording to the survey.

The survey was released this Saturday by the ‘Wall Street Journal’, which interviewed 1,500 registered voters between November 29 and December 4, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.

Trump, who leads massively in the pollsof the republican primariescaused controversy this week by pointing out that he will not be a dictator if he is re-elected in 2024 “except the first day”.

The former president (2017-2021) faces four criminal chargestwo of them related to the “big lie” that he promoted about the alleged electoral fraud in the 2020 elections in which he lost to Biden.

The Republican is accused of trying to manipulate election results in Georgia and in addition to intervening to reverse the electoral results in a case related to the assault on the Capitol.

He is also accused in Florida of mishandling of classified documents after his departure from the White House and in New York illegal payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels during his presidential campaign.
