The mother of Shani Louk, the 22-year-old woman with dual Israeli and German nationality who was kidnapped by Hamas fighters at a music festival in Israel, and whose body was seen in a van in Gaza with Hamas terrorists.
Her mother, Ricarda Louk, has assured that the Israeli authorities have confirmed the death of her daughter after a DNA test taken from part of a skull bone that turned out to be Shani’s. “Unfortunately, yesterday we received the news that my daughter is no longer alive. It’s very sad but at least we no longer have the anguishing uncertainty.. We would like to recover her body so we can bury it but not if the price is an exchange agreement with Hamas,” her mother revealed.
“This means that these barbaric and sadistic animals simply cut off their heads while attacking, torturing and killing Israelis. It’s a great tragedy“said the President of Israel Isaac Herzog.
Shortly after the attack, a video began circulating widely on social media showing the body of a young woman being paraded through the streets in the back of a pickup truck, surrounded by armed fighters and others shouting “Allahu Akbar.”
Shani’s sister has also confirmed the death on social media.
According to Israeli authorities, more than 1,400 people have been killed in Hamas attacks, but there has been a delay in identifying some people due to the poor condition of some of the bodies. Meanwhile, the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says more than 8,000 people have been killed since Israel’s bombing began.
