The All-Russian physical culture and sports complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” (GTO) is a full-fledged program and regulatory framework for the physical education of the country’s residents, aimed at the development of mass sports and the improvement of the nation’s health.
The GTO complex provides for the preparation and direct implementation of established regulatory requirements for three levels of difficulty: gold, silver and bronze. Different age groups can participate from 6 to 70 years and older.
Those who were able to fulfill all the standards will receive the “Ready for Labor and Defense” (RLD) insignia.
To participate in the VFSK “Ready for Labor and Defense” you must:
– Register on the official website: www.gto.ru
– Get an individual ID number (you must save your login and password after registration).
— The main demand for passing the standards comes from schoolchildren. In 2022, approximately 300 people received insignia, more than half of them were gold. Applicants who have received a gold TRP sign may receive additional points when entering a university. Students with such distinctive marks can also apply for an increased academic scholarship,” noted Alexander Terletsky, administrator of the GTO testing center in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
