A group of Jewish protesters gathered this Wednesday inside an office building in the United States Capitol complex, in Washington, in protest of the war between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and in defense of the population of the Gaza Strip.

Dozens of members of the Jewish Voice for Peace organization have gathered at the Cannon Office Building with banners in defense of a ceasefire in the Palestinian enclaveand demanding to “let Gaza live”, according to information collected by the American news network ABC.

While some of these attendees have been detained by the Police, Many others have gathered at the intersection of Independence Avenue and New Jersey Avenue, a few meters from the Capitol building.
