Albares meets this Thursday with his Moroccan counterpart to advance the roadmap with Rabat

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albaresmeets this Thursday in Rabat with his Moroccan counterpart, Naser Burita, to advance the roadmap agreed upon by both countries in the new stage of diplomatic relations opened with the support of Spain for the Moroccan position on the Sahara.

According to Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares will address an agenda marked by political, economic, cultural and development cooperation relations on the first official bilateral trip of the new legislature.

The more official agenda will begin with the traditional visit and offering to the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, after which high-level meetings will take place, among which the one he will hold with his counterpart Naser Burita stands out, with whom he will hold a bilateral meeting at the that the delegations of both countries will also participate before the joint appearance before the media.

Throughout the morning of this Thursday, Albares will also visit the Spanish School of Rabat, where he will be in charge of inaugurating the model of the future educational center and will have the opportunity to meet with teachers and students.

In the afternoon, a meeting is planned with representatives of the Spanish Cooperation in Morocco, with whom he will analyze the work carried out by Spain in helping those affected by the recent earthquakes suffered in the country.

The day’s agenda will culminate with a business meeting at the Residence of the Spanish Embassy in which the different business associations present in the country will participate.
