Four residents of the region were nominated for state awards

Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Yuri Bezdudny and Military Commissar Igor Ibraev presented the high military award to the relatives and friends of the fallen heroes.

— These awards are intended for your sons, husbands, fathers. I admit that I walked with a heavy heart. I knew each of the guys. And it was no coincidence that he knew, but he was in their company and met with them more than once. Eternal and bright memory to our guys! – said the head of the region.

Orders of Courage were posthumously awarded to Maxim Morugin, Alexey Anufriev, Anatoly Semyashkin and Alexey Khenerin (call signs Moruga, Guf, Umka and Tungus).
