Turkey’s New Fingerprint System Will Not Create Difficulties for Russians

The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) has assured that the introduction of a new project to take fingerprints from foreign citizens will not create difficulties for tourists from Russia.

Head of the association Firuz Baglikayain an interview with RIA Novosti, explained that the system, which is planned to be implemented within a few years, will be developed taking into account the minimization of time spent by tourists at the border.

Firuz Baglikaya stressed that the fingerprint registration process will be organized in such a way as to avoid unnecessary delays and inconveniences when crossing the border. According to him, the system is designed to speed up and simplify the entry procedure to Turkey, especially in popular resort areas.

“In this regard, our Russian guests have no reason to worry,” Baglykaya assured.
