This was stated by the founder of the Canadian service Chris Pavlovsky, commenting on the X (formerly Twitter) statement of the French President Emmanuel Macron regarding the detention of the co-founder of Telegram Pavel Durov.

“When you (Macron – TASS note) say that you are committed to freedom of speech, you are lying,” Pavlovsky wrote. “We had to close Rumble during Francebecause you have NO commitment to free speech.” The Rumble founder also said that in connection with the arrest Durova he left the territory European Union.
