• The state seeks to ensure improvements in economic competition policy.

The Federal Economic Competition Commission (Cofece) presented a report of results on the progress in the proactive promotion of a culture of competition in the public, private and academic sectors of Jalisco.

Likewise, various conferences were held such as: “Competition in the real estate sector” and “Public procurement from a competition perspective”.

A year ago the Government of Jalisco signed an agreement with Cofece in order to strengthen the foundations of a fair and inclusive economywhich has also allowed for the establishment of an effective collaboration route that has allowed for strengthening ties with key sectors and the generation of strategies to improve competitive conditions in the entity.

A little over a year ago we signed this agreement with Cofece and that day we had a very clear objective: we had to join forces and get to work where we had to have concrete results for the benefit of Jalisco.
