Tanks and armed soldiers try to take over the headquarters of the Executive in Bolivia

Several tanks and heavily armed soldiers occupied the square in front of the headquarters of the Bolivian Executive this Wednesday, after the Commander General of the Army threatened to take the building.

The president of Bolivia, Luis Arce, denounced minutes before “irregular mobilizations” of the military in the city of La Paz.

Apparently, the soldiers in Plaza Murillo are armed, hooded and with boxes of tear gas ammunition and several people are reported injured.
