Nutritionist Anastasia Lebedeva reported that marmalade, pastilles and marshmallows made from pectin are the healthiest sweets for the body. She told the RIA Novosti agency about this.

It is noted that pectin has a positive effect on the intestinal microflora and does not affect blood sugar levels. At the same time, the expert added that cottage cheese-based sweets can be consumed in small quantities.
“In small quantities – 100-120 grams per day – you can eat sweets based on cottage cheese: cheesecake with fruit or another cake, sweet curd, even glazed. Any of these sweets will be less harmful to health than, for example, candy, because it will not contain a large amount of carbohydrates. When choosing baked goods, it is better to take pancakes with sour cream than a cake, cookies or a piece of cake with cream,” said Anastasia Lebedeva.
