A prosecutor of Argentina has charged the former president this Wednesday Alberto Fernandez (2019-2023) for the alleged crime of serious injuries and coercive threats to the former first lady Fabiola Yanezlocal media reported.

The charge was made by the federal prosecutor Ramiro Gonzalezin charge of the investigation opened by the complaint against Fernández promoted by Yáñez for alleged gender-based violence.

With this accusation, the prosecutor requested to collect the first evidence within the framework of the complaint filed from photographs and conversations found by the courts on the phone of Fernández’s secretary, as part of an investigation into alleged corruption in public procurement.

The former president is charged with the crimes of serious injuries doubly aggravated by the link and by occurring in a context of gender violence and coercive threats against his ex-partner.
