The number of Amur tigers in the “Land of the Leopard” has become the largest in the world

According to the last counting period, the presence of 48 adult Amur tigers was noted in this area. New information was obtained as a result of analyzing data from Russia’s largest photo monitoring network, which includes more than 500 automatic cameras. Similar studies have been conducted in the Land of the Leopard National Park and in the Kedrovaya Pad Nature Reserve for more than 10 years. It is home to a large group of Amur tigers, and is also home to the core of the world’s only wild population of Far Eastern leopards, numbering 125 individuals.
