A team of volleyball players from the Nenets Autonomous Okrug went to competitions in Syktyvkar. There, athletes will take part in a tournament dedicated to the founding day of the Planer Volleyball Academy. It will take place on October 7 and 8.

Volleyball coach at the Leader Youth Center Alexey Ledkov told NAO24 that preparations for the competition began in August. The guys were on summer vacation and had to train a lot to get back in shape.

— The team is in a fighting mood! Before leaving for the competition, we played a couple of test matches with city teams and took part in a volleyball tournament among men’s teams in the village of Krasnoye. These competitions showed that most of the guys on the team got into shape. The off-site competition is the first of this academic year. The trip took place at the expense of the children’s parents, so we are really looking forward to the results to meet their expectations,” Alexey noted.
