A small boat can be found at the beginning of the game. You can use it to go around the island and find your friends.

Design

The Grey Scout Game product line includes 8 new Scout units, founded on the most common abilities in the Warhammer 40k universe. Seven of these units (Arcanophage, Battleboss, Fast Scout, Guardian Drone, Heretic, Marksman, Summoner, Velocity Transmitter) come in a version with three upgrades or ranks that improve models, making these worth considering for two factions; the third model is a human unit. These Scout units are small models (one or two blocks high, varying from one to four blocks in width) that can be used simultaneously by two players. When a Scout unit is defeated, it returns to headquarters, ready to be moved to another player’s battle line.

Among the Scouts’ buildings, the rest of four are unique to the line, including the 12mph transport, which can carry up to four models each; the mountain fort, which can stop any enemy penetration with its walls; the mobile heavy support, which can deliver upgrades and heavy weapons to any models that can see it; the shackle gun, which transforms all Scouts around it into minions, making them unable to avoid damage.

Mostly no fun

This is an alright game in the few hours i played but it isnt worth the $14.99 imo.

I can tell that the devs had a lot of fun playing this game. Its not fun at all. I love The Unspoken series and this was a huge let down.

I play alot of games on steam and the developers realy could have put a little more thought into it. Not only does it look bad, but it has glitches everywhere and it crashes alot.

For a game that is meant to look like this, be very mature, give it a little more quality.

Very bad idea

Procedural stealth is not a good idea.

There’s a stealth mechanic in the game. You have to walk really stealthily to avoid being seen and you lose points when you are discovered. This mechanic worked in a completely different game with a FOV of 90 and since it works in no way in a game with a FOV of 110, this mechanic can never work. People who played Assasin’s Creed Revelations will understand what I mean by that.

In a game like The Unspoken (which I really want to play more but this is the worst game I’ve played on Steam), stealth should not matter at all. You should be able to see everything at all times and if you are playing a stealth game, you should be able to do some very unfair and unfair things just because you’re stealthy. That’s not how stealth games work.

So, once again, this game is very bad. They could have made a good game but instead they made this game which is just mediocre.

You are a Grey Scout on a rainy night in a not so faraway island. Your job is to collect and carry 5 friends that are guarded in a nearby valley. Use stealth and exploration to move among the flora, revealing your movements with a blue smoke trail. Avoid guards and their dogs, and try not to fall off the cliff.

Dogs – 30 guards, each with a heavy beamer. If the dog spots you, you die.

Scenes – 10 different scenes. Guards in different densities, levels of sentry presence, and different levels of lighting.

Friends – With 5 friends, you get closer to the end of the game. You can have up to 10 friends but each time you rescue one friend, you loose 5 friends.

The island is divided in 6 main dens of heavy security. Each of those dens has a certain degree of security level, and have 2 sentries to observe you and report your movements, the highest possible in the highest security level den, the lowest possible in the lowest security level den.

When you step out of the boat, you are in an area with no security and the game starts with 5 friends. As you go around the island you can rescue them from the guards or you can carry them in your boat. In order to carry a friend in your boat, you will have to pick him up from the same location where he was guarded.

No money, no powerups and no upgrades.

Gameplay: –

“Right-Click” to run, and “Alt” to walk.

“1-2” to jump, and “Tab” to glide.

“Shift” + “Tab” to drop from cliff.

“Ctrl” + “1-2” to activate guard dogs.

“Up” to pick up friend.

“Down” to drop friend.

“Esc” to pause the game.

– There is a time limit in the game. Try to rescue as many friends as you can before the time runs out.

– Don’t stand too close to the guards with the beamer, it’s extremely dangerous.

– You get 3 lives.

– You start with 5 friends. If you fall off the cliff while carrying a friend you loose one of your friends.

– The game has a “continue” button.

– There is a game speed up/down button in the upper right corner

Scouts Canada tri-annual reimbursement claims have been below guideline levels for several years, according to new figures from a government agency.

Between 2000 and 2008, out of 18,743 Scoutmasters and troop leaders — those who have left the program to become den leaders and troop leaders — eligible only 11,341 (60 percent) claimed a reimbursement.

An analysis of the number of group leaders claiming a reimbursement from January 2000 to September 2008 shows that, in fact, this number has been below the 60 percent guideline since 2002.

Canadian Taxpayers’ Federation spokesperson Laura Burnett said the cause for this anomaly is unclear.

“Scouts Canada might just have a bit of a PR problem,” she said. “They should explain to Canada’s donors and taxpayer-bashers what their numbers are saying, because it doesn’t sound great.”

From January 2000 to 2008, the numbers fell from 58.75 percent, during the tenure of the late Mike Utting, to around 40 percent, for the past few years. Over the past decade, they hovered between 60 and 64.5 percent.

Within Scouts Canada, itself, there are two main programs: the Order of the Arrow (OA) and Recreational Scouting. The OA was launched in 1930 as a boys-only program and roughly one third of those involved in the program are female. The other two-thirds are eligible for a reimbursement.

Recreational Scouting was launched in 1950 and participants in those groups either pay a membership fee or provide a donation at a regular campfire meeting. It has no age or gender restrictions and until 1990 only male leaders were eligible for a reimbursement. Female leaders were added in that year.

In the 1990s, female leaders left any male-only program in a very high proportion — about 80 percent, according to the CTF’s Burnett — because it wasn’t conducive to their role.

Recreational Scouting is more welcoming to female leadership and the number of leaders claiming a reimbursement has grown steadily for the past 13 years to around 70 percent of eligible adult leaders.

Burnett said, however, that there are still a lot of problems associated with applying for a reimbursement.
