Muslim professionals Association was incorporated in by a group of former various GMSA executives (Regional, Tech (KNUST), Legon (UG), and K-Poly graduates in 2001 . The idea was muted at the handing over ceremony of Ashanti Regional GMSA executives, at the great hall. As beneficiaries of free GMSA vacation classes in the 1990s, and annual youth camp at Nyaakrom, the group had imbibed considerable community consciousness and earlier even established the Tertiary Muslim Students Network which conducted free vacation classes for Muslim students at workers college in 1998 till 2000.
Having graduated tertiary, we were still hungry to be push our community forward in terms of development. But we didn’t have time to teach again since most of us were employed. Hence, Muslim Professionals Association. The Association is based in Ghana and it is made up of professionals across all discipline. Thus the like of educations, engineering, health, banking, to mention a few.
